We had a fantastic stay in Alpens with our 4 young children. Jesus and Judith were fantastic hosts and keen to ensure that we enjoyed our stay in Catalunya. The 3rd story house has been newly renovated with master bedroom and ensuite which was great. Alpens is a friendly village with loads of character. It is a great base to explore the region, with easy drives to Costa Brava, Andorra, Barcelona and the surrounding towns of Catalunya. There is secure parking in the garage downstairs. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent lieu de vacances pour qui aime la randonnée et la tranquilité. Il n'y a vraiment rien à critiquer sur le logement ou le village au charme typique. De plus le propriétaire et vraiment au petit soin afin que le séjour se passe idéalement.

We were met by the owners on arrival, they couldn't do enough to welcome us, even taking us to the nearby river to show us an excellent swimming location. Mountain air, wonderful views and delightful nearby towns and natural locations. This isn't a beach holiday, this is rural location where an appreciation of natural beauty is required. The accommodation had everything we needed, the village people were friendly and helpful. Overall highly recommended.
